John W. Dalton, Jr. M.D. Doctor Dalton has been in pulmonary specialty practice since 1975 in Santa Monica, a member of a partnership, Respiratory Consultants of Santa Monica. His practice, until recently, focused on primary pulmonary problems including Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Critical Care Medicine, and some Occupational Lung Problems. More recently he has been working as primary care "intensivist" for certain patients being admitted to hospital. He is skilled in Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy, Thoracentesis, Pleural Biopsies, insertion of Swan-Ganz catheters, and management of ventilators. His activities include a busy hospital practice, as well as outpatient work in the office environment.
