THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
What should you look for when seeking a doctor for yourself and your family?
  • Excellent training and credentials?
  • An accessible local office?
  • Staff privileges at your preferred hospital?
  • Certainly “yes” to all of these. But then how do you choose among the many doctors who fulfill these basic criteria?
  • Choose the least expensive option in the HMO group provided by your employer?
  • Choose the busiest PPO managed care doctor in your community?
  • Or try to find a physician who can offer more?
  • Unfortunately today, your healthcare and your doctor are largely controlled by third party reimbursement restrictions and endless government regulations. For a physician to offer more requires exceptional commitment, effort and expense from a doctor’s practice.
The commitment required is very simple: to value you as a person first. To take the time to listen and the time to explain. To offer the physician’s time and availability especially when you are ill and need it most. The extra effort and expense needed for a physician and office staff to meet this commitment results in a very different healthcare experience
Private physicians know that nothing is more valuable than the close, working relationship between patient and physician. Knowing you as an individual allows such a doctor to be much more effective in helping care for you. Knowing your doctor so well allows you to gain the most from his or her advice and care.
Private physicians have a very specific philosophy of practice. Private patients have higher expectations for their healthcare. Read more about both in “What is Private Healthcare?
